Thank you to all who attended our Mahogany Dialogues event featuring the community documentary viewing of "Juneteenth: Faith & Freedom".
Thank you to Wayman AME Church for hosting and the wonderful hospitality, also for preparing the 3 course meal for all of our guests.
I was excited about the activation and dialogue around the real history of Juneteenth in America. This was a great kickoff for all the festivities taking place around Juneteenth, and the first one in the community.
This community event is a continuation of our local outreach to preserve, research and exhibit the narratives of Black history locally and nationally.
